The MISSION of Cordova Museum is to collect and preserve the towns history as well as lineage of the early settlers and close neighbors.
It's GOAL is to promote community bonding and historic appreciation among established residents, newcomers, and visitors of Cordova.
Originally developed by Margaret Schwam and later Ray Morton, many wonderful and exquisite items were collected from the former school along with relics and historic items from the community. Under the new direction of Darlene Sawyer, the museum has been methodically reorganized with an additional media research area to serve the community's historians and genealogist looking to connect family origins.
Ancestry.com and Newspaper.com is offered FREE to all visitors.
